About Montana Avenue Interiors

Joani Stewart, Allied Member ASID and Associate Member IIDA, is CEO and head project designer of Montana Ave. Interiors. She is a native of Los Angeles and a graduate of the UCLA Interior Design Program. Joani is a member of the Modern and Contemporary Art Council at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Los Angeles Conservancy and the MAK Center for Art and Architecture. Joani has been designing interiors since l981, her clients include Lily Tomlin, Shelley Long, CEO of Lionsgate Films, President of Virgin Records, President of MGM, President of Houston Restaurants, Vice-President of Herbalife and many doctors, lawyers and professionals in the community.

Our mission, as an interior design firm, is to create livable, comfortable and beautiful homes that showcase the client’s personality and lifestyle. Through personal interviews and intimate conversations we are committed to creating a living environment that embodies the lifestyle and personality of the people who call it ‘home’.

Joani Stewart, CEO and owner of Montana Ave. Interiors Inc has been designing homes on the Westside of Los Angeles since 1994. Distinguished by an eye for detail and a sense of sophistication, her design and art combines a tailored sensual quality with a creative and unique point of view.

Joani’s designs are unique and are created after many personal interviews between client and designer. It is through these conversations that she is able to establish and understand the personality of the home and the likes and dislikes of the people who live there.
