wilshire condo | living room:
Entry: These clients had a collection of over 3000 books that they wanted to display in a library setting. The entry to the unit was a large, wide hallway, so we decided that would be the perfect place to build the custom library.
The clients wanted an open space, clean and uncluttered to entertain or spend time with each other. The views from the large windows are so spectacular that it was important for the furniture to not overshadow the views. The colors are all neutral and the wood throughout the condo is light maple. The walls are butterscotch.
wilshire condo | dining room:
The simplicity of the dining room is in the constant repetition of the maple grid in the table base the dining chairs and the base for the buffet. It is repeated again throughout the condo, particularly in the living room.
wilshire condo | powder room:
The walls of the powder room are done with a torn wallpaper that gives the room an unusual faux finish effect. A curved maple counter adds an element of elegance to the room. The question “colorfast” is by renowned artist, Ed Rusha
wilshire condo | master bedroom:
All the cabinetry and shelving wind their way around the perimeter of the room adding necessary storage and display space. The window seat houses drawers for linens and drawers for files, as well as being a comfortable place to sit and relax. The ladies office is adjacent to the bedroom.
wilshire condo | ladies office:
We used all the space we could afford to install custom maple cabinetry to create an elegant and uncluttered office space. The room is small and off the bedroom so it was necessary to find a way to have it exposed and also to be attractive at all times. We accomplished this goal by putting everything behind closed doors and making sure we had created an organized system of cubbies and shelves and files to fit her needs.
wilshire condo | his office:
Storage and file space were the requirements of his office. We removed the closet in this bedroom and designed a file library for our client to keep his office files. He is a very highly acclaimed psychiatrist and it was imperative that his home office be organized and efficient. We also wanted it to look good and to flow with the rest of the house.
wilshire condo | kitchen:
To keep the cost down in the kitchen we made no structural changes. We removed and replaced all the existing upper cabinet doors with cherry and glass. We completely replaced all the lower cabinets, installed a granite counter and added contemporary pulls. We designed and built for the clients a bar counter with storage beneath the windows opposite the sink counter. Our clients love sitting here in the morning with their coffee looking out at the view of the city and the swimming pool below.

Solomon Condo
Wilshire Corridor Condo
These clients moved from a house in Malibu to this condo on the Wilshire Corridor. Because of the size of the condo we felt the best solution to expand the use of the space was to build cabinetry along the perimeter of the walls to house a library, an entertainment center, storage and display areas.
